Faculty Development Programme-2017

Faculty Development Programme has been conducted in PES Polytechnic on dated 02-03-2017 between 2-5pm at Jindal Block of PES Campus. In this auspicious occasion, Dr.Jagadeesh S N, Prof of CSE, PESITM was the resource person who conducted programme on train the trainer. In this event Dr.Ashok Kumar, HOD, Dept of ME, PESITM and our honorable principal Prof. M H Chandrappa and Dr. Girish L Vice principal, PESPT were present inspite of their busy schedule. Dr. Jagadeesh S N briefly delivered the history about establishment of polytechnic colleges in india since 1947, opportunities for polytechnic student, roles and responsibilities of a Lecturer, difficulties faced by polytechnic students and solutions for them, frequent industrial/company visits to enhance the practical knowledge of the students and motivated the faculties to work with perseverance and patience. After this session Dr. Ashok Kumar shared their views and thoughts by suggesting the roles of lecturers. At last Prof. M H Chandrappa shared his experiences in teaching field.

IMTEX – 2014

As a part of industry and institution academic interaction program, 29 students of Diploma Mechanical Engg. of 4th sem students visited the IMTEX-2014 on 25th Jan 2014 along with Mr. Shashikumar HOD-ME which was held in Bangalore international Exhibition centre, Bangalore (BIEC). Manufacturer from all over the world Exhibit their machines and give the live Demo. India, Germany, Japan, Korea, UK, China, USA and many more countries manufacturers had participated in the Exhibition. This will definitely enhance the practical knowledge about machineries & self confidence of budding engineers. Machines section 1. Hydraulic machines 2. Robotics Machine 3. Laser cutting, welding 4. TIG, MIG welding 5. Quality checking 6. Hot & cold working 7. Water jet machining 8. Pneumatic machines 9. Bending & rolling 10. Forging, Etc
