Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering was established in the year 2011.The present intake of department is 45. Electronics & Communication Engineering deals with the electronic devices, circuits, communication equipments like transmitter, receiver, integrated circuits (IC). It also deals with basic electronics, analog and digital transmission & reception of data, voice and video (Example AM, FM, DTH), microprocessors, satellite communication, microwave engineering, antennae and wave progression. It aims to deepen the knowledge and skills of the students.

VISION: To produce quality Electronic and Communication Engineers & entrepreneurs with professional skills, having concerns for environmental sustainability and the society.

MISSION: To effectively train our students as Electronic and Communication Engineers who can serve the society competently, collaboratively and ethically as planners, designers, constructors and Entrepreneurs.

Microcontroller lab A microcontroller is a compact integrated circuit designed to govern a specific operation in an embedded system. A typical microcontroller includes a processor, memory and input/output (I/O) peripherals on a single chip. Microcontrollers are used in multiple industries and applications, including in
 Building automation
 Robotics
 Automotive and lighting
 Smart energy and industrial automation
 Communications and internet of things (IoT) deployments.

Analog Electronics lab This course covers additional applications of analog electronic circuits with an emphasis on analog and mixed signal integrated circuits (IC). Topics include amplification, filtering, oscillation, voltage regulation, and other analog circuits. Upon completion, students should be able to construct, analyze, verify, and troubleshoot analog electronic circuits using appropriate techniques and test equipment. Communication System labs This course introduces the fundamentals of electronic communication systems. Topics include the frequency spectrum, electrical noise, and modulation techniques, characteristics of transmitters and receivers, and digital communications.
