Department of Information Science & Engineering, PESITM has organized three days faculty development programme “Data Science with Machine Learning and Python using Jupyter Notebook IDE “ from 27th -29th January 2020. The FDP program received an overwhelming response with 33 participants from various institutes/colleges approved by AICTE and affiliated to VTU across Karnataka state.
About the Program
Data science is the processing and analysis of data that you generate for various insights that will serve a myriad of business purposes .The most popular data science methodologies come from machine learning. What distinguishes machine learning from other computer guided decision processes is that it builds prediction algorithms using data. Some of the most popular products that use machine learning include the handwriting readers, speech recognition, movie recommendation systems, and spam detectors.
Objectives of the Program
- To enhance the knowledge of participants in the field of Data Science & Machine Learning
- To build up the knowledge of participants in using Jupytor Notebook IDE
- To familiarise the participants with various python libraries required for ML and Data Science
