Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering conducted an Invited Talk on “Essential Employability Skills for Electrical and Electronics Engineers” on 27-05-2022, from 1.30pm -3.30pm at Dept. Seminar hall.
The program was graced by the presence of Dr. Chaitanya Kumar MV, Principal. The program was convened by Dr. Om Prakash Yadav, HoD, Dept., of EEE, and coordinated by Dr.Rudresh SJ and Mr. Kiran Kumar GR, the guest speaker of this program was Sri Chidananda MS, Founder and CEO, Sparkle Skills, Mysore and Sri. Chandrappa, Control Engineer, L & T, Mysuru.
The presentation is focused over the Electrical Engineering education that demands numerous challenges in the present context due to the difficulties posed by the placement scenario. Demand for competent engineering professionals has made the selection process highly challenging giving rise to a need for comprehensive education pedagogy not just confined to inculcating hard core technical attributes but also human skills. The job opportunities in the domain over the various sectors were explored and the approach that electrical engineer should have to grab it were discussed. All the final year students have attended the talk.
