PESITM is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi and recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college offers Nine UG Programs , Two PG Programs and Nine Research centres.
- 45 % of the seats will be filled by Government of Karnataka through Karnataka Examination Authority with CET ranking
- 30% of the seats will be filled through COMEDK
- 25% seats through Management quota
- In addition to sanctioned intake, 10% seats are allotted under lateral entry quota
- Also, 5% seats are allotted by KEA under Super Numarory Quota (SNQ) as per Govt order
- Few of the students are allotted by AICTE under PMSS quota for J&K students
Duration: 4 years (8 Semesters)
Eligibility:
- Students who have passed PUC/10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects Chemistry /Computer Science / Electronics/ Biotechnology / Biology, with at least 45% of marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category as per Government order) in the above subjects taken together.
- Lateral Entry to Second Year Bachelor of Engineering (B.E): Passed Diploma examination from an AICTE approved institution; with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology.
- For admission under management quota, students should compulsorily appeared in CET/COMEDK/JEE or any other entrance test for professional program.
