The Pes Polytechnic Institute was established in 2011, The campus is about 4.125 acres which is amidst the greenery and tranquillity of nature on the Sagar Main Road, Shivamogga. The institute aims to be one of the premier institutes for polytechnic education. Besides this, the well-qualified faculty guides the students in updating themselves with the latest trends and through industrial visits.

The institute is affiliated to the Department of Collegiate and Technical Education, Government of Karnataka and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and Recognized by the Government of Karnataka. The institute offers Diploma courses in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and also Mechanical Engineering.
