The diminishing and continuous increasing cost of petroleum resources associated with their alarming pollution levels from diesel engines has caused an interest in finding renewable, alternative and sustainable fuels to diesel.

In collaboration of mechanical department with metallurgy department, we had gone to “AZAD INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND ENGINEERING” for industrial visit at thirthalli on 27/07/2019. It is a CNC training and machining centre.we were total 50 students ( mechanical – 35 and metallurgy – 15). Our students were largely benifited by this visit and learned about CNC operation.

As per the syllabus, the Diploma students of 6th semester have to get a training of 64 hours in any of the respective industries. Our students of 6th semester have visited Creovana Labs & Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Industry, Tumkur from 13-12-2018 to 23-12-2018.

Department of Civil Engineering conducted a 10 days Extensive Survey Camp at Beeranakere Mutt for 3rd year Diploma students from 15 December 2018 to 24 December 2018 completed successfully as a part of the academic curriculum.

Dr Nagaraja R Chief Co-Ordinator Administration, PES TRUST. Shimoga was the President on this occasion and he urged the students to follow five personality skills such as Emotional, intellectual, physical, spiritual & Discipline.
