The  Guest talk was organized for the students of the P G Department of Commerce on Career Opportunities for Commerce Graduates and Essential Skills by Sri Pandurang Patkar, Founder and Director, FutureCare, BFSI Learning Academy and Wealth Management Services and also a Certified Financial Planner  from Financial Planning Standard Board, India  on 15-10-2018 at M.Com Seminar Hall.

He enlightened the students about the plenty of opportunities available for M.Com graduates  in the areas of  Banking , Share broking and Financial Services, Mutual Fund, Wealth Management, Life Insurance, Investment Banks etc.

He called upon the students to gain as much as skills possible and cautioned that only Master Degree in Commerce is not sufficient to get opportunities in corporate sector. Since Skill India being focused widely all companies want to recruit graduates who are having special skills apart from academics to perform the responsibilities efficiently and effectively.  He guided the students on various certification courses being conducted by SEBI and   informed the students to take up the examination and complete the course successfully. He informed the students that companies are not getting graduates who have successfully completed the  certification courses and appraised them the importance of such certificates.
