PESIAMS had organized online orientation on 17th of November 2020 for first year BCom, BCA, BSc, and BBA. The administrative coordinator of PESIAMS Dr.  R Nagaraj,enlightened about commerce and management studies, he further advised that the students, to maintain mental and physical health, to become successful one should eat nutritious food and should do yoga, meditation and exercise, regularly. He also indicated that communication skills, leadership qualities and digital skills are the tools to reach the goal in life and also which make life easier.

The chief guest, NAAC consultant Dr.G S Mallikarjunappa welcomed the parents and talked that in the modern world students should opt for new certificate courses in accordance with the modern industries. We live in the world of technology and it is much easier to take courses through online with free of cost and students should grab the opportunity whenever given.

Shri Ram Vamshi, CA & Founder of Proedge, Bengaluru he educated the students about CA/CS/CMA and also other certificate courses and how much time a student should spend on studies to clear these exams. He further stated thatone can make the companies to come look for them instead of them finding job after the completion of degree course. It would be beneficial if BCom students choose CA/CMA and BBA students choose CS.

Another chief guest Dr. Chaitanya, principal of PESITM suggested that only getting good marks is not the ultimate goal. Life needs knowledge rather than how much percentage one gets in the examination. Henceforth students should transform the information they get into knowledge and they should use it for the betterment of the society. He further advised that students should keep learning through experiences and must try to skillful. He further stated that communication skill has gained significance in recent times andstudents must thrive to develop this skill to have a bright future.

Dr. K Sailatha, principal of PESIAMS gave the introductory note and welcomed all whole heartedly. Mrs. Roopa D S , HOD of BSc and computer science, was also present in the program. Dr. G M SudrashanHOD of department of commerce and management, briefed about the course and achievements they have done in the previous year and concluded the program.
