Swamy Vivekananda Jayanthi was celebrated as ‘Youth Day’ on 17.01.2018 jointly by the NSS and Red Cross Units of the college. Sri Vinayananda Saraswathi Swamiji of Ramakrishna Vivekananda Ashrama, who was the chief guest on the occasion, inspired the students to prepare themselves to make India as one of the strongest countries in the world by following the path of swamy Vivekananda. In his discourse he also spoke at length about the benefits of meditation and bhajanas and taught them to the students.  Another Chief Guest at the function Sri.B Ramesh Umarani who was the Resource Person, spoke on Personality Development and shared some important tips with the students in order to become successful in life. The Principal of the college S R Nagaraja presided over the programme and all the teaching & non teaching staff and students were present on the occasion.
