Professional and soft skills are highly required to get into any job in the post  liberalization era opined by Prof. J Madegowda, Professor, Department of Studies and Research in Commerce, Kuvempu University,  while addressing students by inaugurating College Day-ABHIKYANA 2018 of PES Institute of advanced Management Studies on 20-03-2018 at Prerana Convention Hall. Due to the advancement of technology entire job market has witnessed enormous changes. Hence,  in order to prepare ourselves for global competition we have to excel in the skills like deep knowledge in the concept, good hold in English, leaning of more foreign languages,   Technical skills, Time sense, good attitude and best use of opportunities at the right time he said.

Mrs. Arunadevi S.Y., Trustee, PES Trust advised parents to guide their children in the right direction. She urged the parents to involve in all the academic and non academic activities of the college which in turn helps in the overall development of the institution also.

The Principal of the College, Mr. S.R Nagaraja briefed the activities of the college during Academic Year 2017-18 in his introductory remarks.

The students who have scored highest marks in all the courses and students who have secured distinction are felicitated with Memento, Certificate and Book Coupons worth Rs. 500 each.
