Students of BCA Department participated in State level IT Fest “ZEST-2015” on 13th and 14th March 2015 Conducted by Department of Computer Science & MCA, Kuvempu University & won the Championship Award. They participated in various events such as Counter Strike, Trivia, MAD-ADZ, Ice Breakers, Trash Craft, Trove Track-down, Rock the floor etc.

The Events are :-

  1. Counter Strike: It was a combat game in which two teams had to face each other & eliminate the opposite team.
  2. Trivia: It was quiz which had three rounds and the final two rounds consisted of three sub rounds each.
  3. MAD-ADZ: They will be given a product and would be asked to form a marketing campaign for the product on the spot.
  4. Ice Breakers: The teams had to perform on the theme “Life without Technology”.
  5. Trash Craft: A Craft (working model) had to be made by trash without any pre adjustment.
  6. Trove Track-down: Clues/hints were placed across the campus, the team of two, had to link the clues with one another and had to complete the task.
  7. Rock the floor: The teams had to perform on the theme “Save a Girl Child”.
