The list of Students Participated in 2-DAY Workshop on “ Cyber security and Ethical Hacking”, Organized by  Indian institute of Technology,  Bombay at Zonal Center – Sahyadri Science College, Shivamogga  on 23/09/2017 and 24/09/2017.  Mr. Anshu Kumar, Software Engineer, IIT Bombay, as resource person.  He specially focused on practical hands on session. For practical sessions the software tool kit was provided to participants. The trainer explained the basic theoretical concepts about ethical hacking and demonstrated the hacking software’s .The students learnt how to access and hack different kinds of websites, how to protect the files, system and operating system from hackers.

The workshop was very interactive and informative for students as well as faculty members. The students were explained the usage of current software in cyber security & ethical hacking. Students were given information about legal and illegal software and how to make use of it. Using illegal software is against law and is punishable under the court of law.

 At the end of the  workshop Mr. Anshu kuamr conducted  a  competition for students , and in that  11 students from our college  have been  selected for National level  grand finale @ IIT Bombay campus.

All the participants are given certificates for their active participation and merit certificates to those selected students to participate in the finale.
