A workshop on (stage) light design and management had been organized by Karnataka Nataka Academy, Bengaluru and Artists Association (Regd.), Shivamogga in collaboration with the amateur theatre groups’ artist union, on 22-2-2021, in Kuvempu Rangamandira, Shivamogga.  

Following 11 students of our college had participated in the workshop. Upon their return the students shared their experience as follows- “It indeed was a unique programme which isn’t hosted that often. We learnt that light design is not just an art but a science in itself. We understood that the effect of light on stage or at events is not just visual but also psychological.”
