About Department & Course

B.E Computer Science and Design (CSD) focuses on developing students experienced with computing approaches, tools, design approaches and new Digital Media technologies. The program has a set of core courses in Computer Science and Design, and many electives that can be studied from Computer Science and Design and Digital Media. The program prepares students to work in the IT industry and the digital media industry for gaming, animation, virtual/augmented reality, etc. The students can pursue higher studies in Computer Science / Information Technology or Design.

Salient Features:

• The Department has state-of-the-art infrastructure and computing facilities that support practical learning. The laboratory offers students a chance to enhance their practical expertise in the field.
• The Department set up a Centre of Excellence in Design to conduct regular technical talks and workshops as part of the MoU.
• The Department regularly conducts workshops and short-term training programmes (STTPs).
• The interaction between students and professors greatly enriches the educational experience for all.
