AMATHE-2024 two-day conference
The prestigious PES Institute of Technology and Management (PESITM) in partnership with IEEE organised the International Conference on AMATHE-2024 two-day conference was held from 16th to 17th May at Seminar Hall, PESITM, featured distinguished guests and scholars from across the globe.The two days event also had cultural night with gala dinner.
The Chief Guest for the event was Dr In-Ho Ra, Professor at Kunsan National University of South Korea and the other guests are Dr Niranjan Chiplunkar, Principal of NMAM Institute of Technology,Udupi and Dr Gill Lacey from Teesside University, UK and the Guest of Honour,Mr Subhash B R,Chief Operating Officer of PES Trust, Shivamogga.
With the presence of guests and scholars from various premium institutions like Dr In-Ho Ra, Professor at the Kunsan National University of South Korea, Dr Niranjan Chiplunkar, Principal of NMAM Institute of Technology,Udupi and Dr Gill Lacey from Teesside University, UK, Dr Ravi Kumar V Professor, CSE, VVCE, Mysore, Dr Sampath S Professor, ISE, AIT, Chikmagalur, Dr Vinay S Professor, CSE, PESCE, Mandya, Dr Venugopal Prof & HoD, AI&DS, Nitte, Karala, Udupi, Mrs Ashwini Holla, Associate Professor, Canara College of Engineering,Mangalore, Dr Manjunath Kotari, Professor, CSE, AIET, Moodbidri, Mangalore,Dr. U C Niranjan, Director of Research & Training, Manipal Dot Net.
The international conference witnessed participation from over 200 research enthusiasts, including students and faculties from various parts of India and abroad, making it a melting pot of ideas and innovations. About twenty-five research articles were presented offline, and the remaining were presented in online mode.
Dr In-Ho Ra, Professor at Kunsan National University of South Korea, said, “ Dr Ra emphasised on the significance of global conferences in fostering a collaborative platform for exchanging innovative ideas and research findings. "Such international assemblies are crucial for advancing knowledge and sharing vital research that can benefit societies worldwide," he added.
Mr Subhash B R, Chief Operating Officer of PES Trust, Shivamogga, acknowledged the profound impact of artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies on various sectors, including healthcare. "It is inspiring to see how these technologies are making advanced medical treatments accessible to broader sections of society, once considered out of reach," he commented
Dr. Nagaraja R., Chief Coordinator of Administration at PES Trust, "This platform not only showcases the global research trends but also stimulates local students and researchers to engage deeply with the emerging technologies," he stated.
The two-day International Conference concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Likewin Thomas, Head of the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Department.
