The Department of Mechanical Engineering at PESITM Shimoga, organised an industry visit for Second and Third-year students to M/s Elkayem Auto Ancillaries (P) Ltd., Mysuru on 30th Nov 2024, that focused on enhancing their understanding of industrial practices and applications.

The industry visit was guided by Mr. Mujeebur Rehman, Mr. Praveen H, and Mrs. Akshatha, the students observed state-of-the-art production techniques and quality control measures, explored the role of advanced manufacturing technologies in producing auto components, interacting with industry professionals, gaining valuable insights into the automotive supply chain.

The highlights of this industry visit were to provide students with a real-world perspective on the design and manufacturing of automotive parts, inspiring them to integrate innovative practices into their learning and future careers.
