Senior Citizen Day is celebrated on August 21st to honor and appreciate the contribution of elderly Individuals in society. It was established to recognize the value role seniors play in our families and Communities. The holiday is celebrated through community events, volunteer activities, and outreach Programs, and many organizations offer discounts to seniors on this day.

 

This program was organized by department of AIML as part of NSS activity and social outreach event on 9-3-2023. More than 35 senior citizens from various section of society took part and witnessed the program,
