The Department of Computer Science & Design, PESITM Shimoga hosted  the Bosch Industrial In-Plant Training on Industry 4.0 Solutions & IIoT at Bangalore on March 6th & 7th, 2025  in collaboration with Bosch India Pvt Ltd, Bangalore, and V V Technologies, Tumakuru.

Under the leadership of Dr. Pramod R, HOD, CSD and Mr. Manjunatha G Assistant Professor, CSD, the Bosch Industrial In-Plant Training on Industry 4.0 Solutions & IIoT was organised successfully .Mr. Harish M, Assistant Professor, Department of CSD, was also part of the training program and provided his support.

A total of 74 students participated in this vocational training. The training was certified by Bosch, 48 students from Computer Science & Design, 15 students from Computer Science (Data Science), 11 students from Information Science & Engineering.

The program was led by Mr. Syed Altaf and Mr. Ramesh N, Bosch India and guided the students throughout the training. From V V Technologies, Tumakuru, Mr. Vishwanath T and Mr. Praveen T, along with their team, actively contributed to the smooth execution of the program.

The event highlighted on Hands-on exposure to Industry 4.0 technologies, smart manufacturing & automation,  In-depth sessions on Bosch Production Systems, Industrial Electronics & Embedded Systems,  Expert guidance from industry leaders with 15-40 years of experience, Real-world case studies and interactive discussion, Engaging activities conducted by Bosch HR team on career growth, industry expectations & skill development,  Factory tour providing a deep understanding of Bosch’s advanced manufacturing processes, Crucial insights into data security, cybersecurity importance & future technologies.

This intensive training program offered students valuable industry exposure, practical knowledge, and insights into modern industrial automation, cybersecurity, and future trends.
