The Department of Civil Engineering concluded a technical talk on “Integrated Approach to Water Management and Fire Safety in Buildings as per NBC 2016” in association with the Indian Plumbing Association (IPA), Bengaluru Chapter, on 13th September 2025 at PESITM campus. TThe guest speakers were Er. Krishna Prasad, National Executive Committee Member, IPA, Bengaluru Chapter, and Er. Chethan Jois, Hon. Secretary, IPA, Bengaluru Chapter. The session focused on educating student professionals with insights into the importance of sustainable water management systems and the critical role of fire and life safety provisions in modern building design, as outlined in the National Building Code (NBC) 2016.
