βTurn Grey Skies into Rainbow Vibesβ with this intention, the Department of Civil Engineering organised an Umbrella Painting Competition with the theme βNature & Technologyβ for all the students in association with the Cultural Committee. The event was held outdoors on the campus near Prerana Convention Hall on 3rd September 2025.
The students painted their ideas and intervention of technology in nature on an umbrella by using their creativity.
The event was inaugurated by Dr.Swamy D R, Principal, PESITM, by unfurling the umbrella painted with the college logo, along with Mrs.Pooja, Member Secretary-Cultural Committee, Dr. Sanjay, HOD, Department of MCA, Dr. Prasanna Kumar H R, Academics Dean, and Mr.Taranath H, Chairman, Cultural Committee, PESITM Shivamogga.
The event was attended by various department heads, cultural committee coordinators, teaching, non-teaching staff, and student fraternity. A total of 31 teams registered and actively participated in the event.
