The Department of Mathematics celebrated National Mathematics Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of the great Mathematician Mr. Srinivasa Ramanujan, at PESITM. The department also conducted a Mathematics Quiz for all first-year B.E. students on 22nd December, 2025.

A total of 106 teams enthusiastically participated in the quiz. Mr.Devendra Sankla and Mr. Ayaz Khan are the winners, and Ms.Aishwarya A and Ms.Bhuvana P secured the runner-up position in the quiz program

The students who scored 100/100 in the I and II Semester VTU Mathematics Examinations for the academic year 2024–25 were felicitated by Dr.Swamy D R, Principal, PESITM, Dr.Sekar R, Vice Principal, PESITM, and Dr. Aveesh S T., Mathematics HOD. The 1st Semester students are Ms.Druthi G K, ECE, Mr.Harsh Raj Guptha, CSE, Ms.Divya S P, CSE, Ms.Bindu S J, CSE, and Mr.Harsh Raj Guptha, I Semester & II Semester, CSE.

The event motivated the students to develop a greater interest in Mathematics.
