The Department of Electronics and Communication at PESITM organised a Student Development Program on Industrial Robotics for 4th Semester Students in association with the Institution's Innovation Council, IOT&ES Club, and IETE Student Chapter on 27th and 28th March 2026. 

We are privileged to host the resource persons, Mr. Kiran Kashyap, Co-Founder of Vithsutra Technologies Pvt Ltd, Dakshina Kannada, and Mr. Prashanth Yerageri, Automation and Firmware Engineer, Vithsutra Technologies Pvt Ltd, Dakshina Kannada, at the ECE Seminar Hall. 

 The session covered Industrial Robotics and Automation, Robotic components and control systems used in industrial applications, Embedded systems and firmware development in robotics, Industrial automation techniques and real-time applications, and Hands-on training using IGUS robotics simulation software. Followed by a live demonstration of an industrial robot to explain robotic movement, control, and applications in automation systems.

The SDP Program enhanced the students' practical knowledge and technical skills in the field of Industrial Robotics and Automation.
