The Department of Computer Science & Engineering at PES Institute of Technology and Management successfully conducted an 8-hour CodeBegin – 2026 Hackathon in collaboration with GeeksforGeeks for 4th-semester students of all branches on 29th April 2026 at the Main Seminar Hall.

A challenging problem statement was unveiled during the event, encouraging participants to innovate, collaborate, and compete.

The event was inaugurated by Mr. Devashish Khare, mentor from GeeksforGeeks, in the presence of Dr. Swamy D R (Principal, PESITM) and Dr. R Sekar (Vice Principal, PESITM).

A panel of 8 jury members evaluated the participants’ ideas and solutions. Winners were recognized with cash prizes and goodies, sponsored by GeeksforGeeks. The Special Individual Awards were given to Best Problem Solver, Best UI Designer, Best Presenter, Best Jury Award, and Best Logical Thinker.
