PES Institute of Technology and Management (PESITM), Shimoga, proudly announces the participation of its students from the Department of Data Science in the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025 Grand Finale, held on 8th and 9th December 2025 at Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

The team, led by Affan Ali Khan, with members Mohammed Omer Khan, Abdul Rahaman M, Bhoomika D M, Zeenath Banu S, and R P Nagashri Sajjan (7th Semester, Data Science), was mentored by Mr. Maruthi S T, Assistant Professor, Department of CSE (Data Science). The team was the only one from Shimoga district to participate in the grand finale.

The students showcased strong innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills at the national level.
