The Department of Civil Engineering, in association with IIIC and CDC, PESITM, Shivamogga, organised an Industry Connect Program followed by a Pre-Placement Talk for final-year Civil and Mechanical Engineering students on 22nd August 2026.

Mr. H. I. Pinjar, Proprietor, The Opal Designers, Shivamogga, shared valuable industry insights on technical knowledge, practical skills, problem-solving, digital competency, communication, teamwork and innovation.

Mr. Gozeen H. Pinjar, MD, The Opal Designers, Shivamogga, briefed the students about the company, Design/Production roles and career opportunities for Civil/Mechanical BE/Diploma graduates.
