NSS organises Blood Donation Camp

The NSS Wing of PESITM organised a Blood Donation Camp in association with the Rotary Blood Bank, Shivamogga, and the NH Superspeciality Hospital, Shivamogga, on 14 August 2026 at the PESITM Campus, as part of the birthday celebration of the Honβble Member of Parliament, Sri. B. Y. Raghavendra.
The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members of PESITM, PES Polytechnic and PESIAMS, with a total of 103 units of blood successfully donated and collected.
The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Rekha,NH Superspeciality Hospital; Dr Nagaraja R, Registrar, PES Trust, Dr Swamy D R, Principal, PESITM and Mr. Shivanand C. Maradi, NSS Programme Officer and Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
Dr. Rekha and Dr. Rajesh from NH Superspeciality Hospital, along with representatives from Rotary Blood Bank, highlighted the importance of blood donation and the role of such initiatives in fulfilling our social responsibility.
