🎓 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟎

The Departments of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AIML) and Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), in association with the IIC , PESITM, commemorated the 6th Anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 on 29th July 2026 at the Main Seminar Hall.

The programme featured Dr. Nagaraja R, Registrar, PES Trust, as the Chief Guest. He highlighted how NEP 2020 is a roadmap for transforming technical education through skill-oriented learning, innovation, digital infrastructure, research excellence, and holistic student development.

He emphasized that students should be encouraged toward active, self-directed, and applied learning, while faculty members should adopt active teaching methods with real-world and industry-oriented examples. He also remarked that NEP 2020 marks a shift from institutions to inspiration, with faculty serving as the true engines of transformation.

Dr. Sekar R, Vice Principal, PESITM, noted that NEP 2020 is paving the way for a skilled and future-ready India.

The session inspired students and faculty to embrace the vision of NEP 2020 and contribute towards a more innovative, inclusive, and learner-centric education system.
