The Department of Computer Science and Design at PESITM successfully organised a Technical Talk on “Building Machines That Learn: A Practitioner’s Journey” on 9th April 2026 at the EEE Seminar Hall.

We were privileged to host Mr. R. Ravi Shankar, Former Director – Data Science & Engineering at Honeywell, who delivered an insightful session on industry-driven practices in AI and Data Science. His expertise brought real-world perspectives on Agile methodologies, predictive analytics, and the evolving tech landscape.

With enthusiastic participation from around 120 students and faculty members, the session became highly interactive and impactful.
