The Department of Mechanical Engineering successfully conducted a One-Day Faculty Development Programme in association with the Research & Development Centre, the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), on the topic “Strengthening Research and Innovation for Institutional Excellence” at the Main Seminar Hall.

“Quality research, innovative thinking, and effective research collaboration are essential for institutional excellence,” said Dr Swamy D R, Principal, PESITM.

Dr. Prashantha K., Dean, Adichunchanagiri University, B G Nagara, Mandya District, spoke on “Developing a Research Mindset,” emphasizing critical thinking, problem identification, innovation, and practical research solutions.

Dr. J. Manjanna, Rani Channamma University, Belagavi, addressed “Research Methodology for High-Quality Research,” highlighting research problem identification, literature review, methodology, data analysis, research ethics, and quality publications.

The programme provided valuable insights into how to strengthen research and innovation.
