One Day online National Conference on Recent Trends in Applied Science (NCRTAS) was organised by Basic Science Department, PESITM on 8.6.2022.

Theme of the conference:

1. Aerosol Physics, Nanomaterials, Condensed Matter Physics
2. Electrochemistry
3. Differential Geometry and Fluid Mechanics

Principal, Dr. Chaitanya Kumar M V gave the inaugural address to all the delegates.

Subject experts

Dr. Srikrishna Dattatray S from Dept of Physics, Pune University, Pune

Dr. Nayaka G P from National Chemical Laboratory, CSIR, Pune and

Dr. P G Siddheshwar from Christ University, Bangalore

were present as the Chairpersons who inspired the delegates with their expert key note address.

About 75 research delegates from different universities and institutes from Karnataka as well as out of state participated. About 27 research articles were presented. Very fruitful interaction and discussion was the highlight of the conference.
